Binangkal or Chinese Doughnut.

It was one lazy afternoon when I got a call from a friend and she wants to come over , in fact she's on her way to our house while we talked on the phone. So, right then I am thinking what I am going to make for snacks that don't take long to cook. So I made Binangkal or Chinese doughnut, then I set a small and comfortable spot in the backyard and let the children play while we enjoy watching them running around catching the ball.

3 cups all purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup milk ( I use evaporated milk)

1 cup sesame seeds

oil for frying

-Mix all dry ingredients, flour, sugar, baking soda and powder, salt.

-Add oil and rub mixture with fingers.

-add milk, stir just until blended.

-form into small balls and coat each with sesame seeds.

-Let stand for 10 minutes .

-Fry in a deepfryer in moderately hot, until golden brown. Enjoy!
