Kitchen Herbs

When I was 5-6 years old as I remember , we have herb plants that my late father was fond of; it was placed close to the kitchen and he would get mad at us if we forgot to water them. It puzzled me, why in the world he put those herb inside instead of the side yard? Now I know.
Oregano

Turmeric

Lemon Grass

Mint

Rosemary

Onions
Kitchen herbs give aroma to the house and are very convenient when you cook. You can just pick them fresh and they give good flavors to your cooking. Oregano, Mint, Rosemary, Turmeric, Green onions, Lemon grass are some kitchen herbs that are easy to take care and will give a great look and smell in the kitchen.

I cook but I still get confused which herbs to put on certain dishes. I mostly use bay leaf because I love the aroma. I wish I can grow some herbs but I tend to kill my plants that's why I don't have plants anymore. Unlike my mother, her house is a jungle - most filipino household is like a forest anyways :)

hahahah! we had these in our garden too. if i felt sick or something, i'd either be plastered with heated leaves or made to drink some boiled concoction.
